My day job is CEO and Co-Founder of Allergy Amulet. Our company is developing a product to help food allergy sufferers feel safer about what they eat. The device provides a fast and accurate way to check for specific allergens in food.

My most memorable caffeine experience was at Philz Coffee in San Francisco when I tried their Iced Mint Mojito for the first time. I honestly considered moving there just so I could enjoy their coffee on a regular basis. Whenever I’m in the area, I always try to stop by for a cup.

My current caffeine of choice is my morning coffee at home. I love the routine of grinding the beans and making myself a cup of coffee in my Aeropress—a sort of cross between a drip coffee maker and a French press.

My favorite place for caffeine is Bradbury’s Coffee, just off Capitol Square. Great crepes and a very casual and friendly atmosphere.

The person I’d love to share a cup of caffeine with is Diana Gabaldon, the author of the Outlander book series. They’re about a British woman who time travels between the 20th and 18th centuries. They’re a great mix of romance, history, and science fiction.

World problem that could be solved with the right amount of caffeine: Environmental damage—from climate change, to the effect that chemical exposure has on our health, to problems like the great mass of plastic floating around the ocean. I imagine it will take more than coffee though to address these critical issues.
